We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) and Digitalization Expert with deep expertise in Hadoop and big data platforms to support data-driven decision-making and drive innovation within the organization. This role combines advanced analytics, business intelligence, and digital transformation strategies to enhance efficiency and business performance. The ideal candidate will leverage Hadoop-related tools and other BI technologies to design scalable analytics solutions, lead digitalization initiatives that modernize and streamline business processes while providing strategic insights to support growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Big Data Management : Utilize Hadoop (including HDFS, Hive, and Spark) to store, manage, and analyze large datasets, enabling effective data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze complex data sets from Hadoop clusters, relational databases, and other sources; create reports and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • BI Solution Development : Design, implement, and maintain BI solutions using both BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Data Pipeline Exchange : Collaborate with data providers or front-end system teams to ensure a well-designed data flow with high data quality.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Coordinate with various IT teams and partner with departments such as finance, operations, and marketing and aftersales to gather data requirements, address data challenges, and drive analytical projects.
  • Performance Tracking : Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using big data methodologies, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Communication Skills : Establish effective communication with business users and vendors, clearly articulating insights, requirements, and technical details to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifikationen

Valid work permit in Taiwan is a must.

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience : 5+ years of experience in BI, data analysis, or big data environments.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem tools (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark). Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and visualizations. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL processes. Digitalization experience also required, like RPA, AI, Machine learning. Programming experience in Python, R, or Scala is highly desirable. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and data lakes is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills : Demonstrated expertise in managing and interpreting large, complex datasets within Hadoop and deriving insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills : Clear and concise English communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, business users, and vendor partners.
