Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
Purpose of the Position
- Seeking environmental engineering resource to lead initiatives related to PA (pollution abatement) / WWT (wastewater treatment) design, construction, commissioning, upgrade and operation support of Corning manufacturing infrastructure and associated equipment. Also focus on environmentally friendly products, process, and equipment technology with sustainability
Day to Day Responsibility
PA / WWT design, installation, commissioning and start upExtend Sustainability / ESG CoE capability / products to Asia. Across design(research), development and engineering for products and manufacturing process technologies with sustainabilityEnvironmental Equipment FAT and issue FAT reportReview and implementation JSA (SWMS) with safety team and vendorIssue weekly / monthly report related to safety, schedule, and quality for construction and commissioningWork with Contractor, project team, safety team and site leaders to address any installation and commissioning issuesEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and above in chemical or environmental engineering or related field of studyOverseas educational experience is a plusExperience in ESG / Sustainability is a plusRequired Skills
Background in chemical / environmental engineeringBackground in ESG / sustainability or related fieldExperience working effectively with contractorsKnowledge of project management practicesKnowledge of PA / WWT / Chemical system installation and hook up processesKnowledge of environmental permits / emissions monitoring is a plusTravel Requirements :
May require up to 75% travel for project support mainly in Asia region
