Job Description
Engineering Leadership
- Guide multidisciplinary R&D teams across hardware, mechanical, thermal, and embedded software domains to deliver server products that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
- Lead design reviews, technical evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure design robustness and scalability.
- Encourage cross-domain collaboration and build an engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous learning.
Operations & Execution
Ensure manufacturing readiness by aligning production engineering, quality control, and process validation activities.Resolve engineering-to-manufacturing handoff challenges by optimizing workflows and aligning technical documentation.Drive NPI (New Product Introduction) readiness across design validation, pilot runs, and production ramp-up.Stakeholder & Client Communication
Serve as the technical focal point for global customers-communicating development progress, managing escalations, and aligning expectations on deliverables and roadmaps.Support business development and account teams with technical insights, proposal reviews, and long-term platform planning.Strategic & Organizational Impact
Translate market and technology trends (e.g., AI workloads, edge computing) into product and engineering strategies.Identify process gaps and implement systemic improvements across engineering and operations.Build team capability through structured hiring, coaching, and performance development.The Successful Applicant
10+ years of experience in product development, preferably in server, datacenter hardware, or high-compute systems.Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering and operations teams through full lifecycle programs.Strong understanding of systems integration, thermal design, EMI / EMC considerations, and high-reliability manufacturing.Comfortable navigating both high-level client discussions and technical deep dives.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; experience working with clients across the U.S. and Europe is a plus.Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
