Responsibilities
MaxLinear is seeking a strong Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for supporting processes and programs vital to the efficient and effective operation of the Taiwan sales and engineering teams in two sites (Taipei & Hsinchu). You will participate in the design and implementation and support of HR programs and activities, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and motivates quality employees. You are expected to be proactive, use good judgement, and people skills to create an excellent workplace. The successful candidate in this role is a hands on HR generalist with passion for both operational and strategic HR. In this role, you will focus on the following :
- Source, Recruit and new employee onboarding
- Payroll Management
- Facilitate company events and engagement activities and enhance robust employee well-being programs
- Generation of HR reports & Analytics to support management in analysis
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business leaders in terms of HR operations and compliance
- Manage external vendors and payments
- Drive HR operation efficiencies and data accuracies; manage local HR process improvements
- Assist Manager to develop, implement and govern HR related policies, procedures & established guidelines aligned to business needs
- Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of all operational HR services
- Counsel employees and manage grievances and disciplinary actions in an expeditious manner
- HR Operations Compliance such as corporate driven initiatives like ethics, competency, etc
Qualifications
Experience working in semiconductor industry preferredWorking knowledge of current government regulations related to employment in TaiwanConsiderable knowledge of principles and practices of recruiting and Human ResourcesStrong self-starter capabilities and when necessary intervene and act upon organizational challenges with appropriate resolutionsStrong team player willing to roll up their sleeves to deliver excellent HR deliverablesStrong attention to detailOutstanding customer service focus and interpersonal skillsSolid MS Office with advanced Excel requiredHRIS experience is a plusAbility to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to closing action items quicklyAbility to partner will all levels of management, including well-developed influencing, negotiating and consulting skillsExcellent oral and written communications skills in English and strong presentation skillsHighly analytical with ability to measure data to drive and influence actionsRegular visit to Hsinchu office is requiredDemonstrate discretion and commitment to maintaining a high personal standard of ethics and integrityBachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of HR generalist related experience
