We’re looking for a Vice President, Human Resources to be based in Taipei, Taiwan, reporting to the corporate CEO. The VP Human Resources will work closely with the global management team and play a critical leadership role by developing, coordinating, and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plans and directions of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR functions in the areas of talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.
- Advise, counsel, and provide coaching and resolution to address employees’ performance. Provide consultation and performance management guidance to improve work relationships, build moral and increase productivity and retention.
- Continuous improvement and innovation in human resources as it related to improving processes, addressing performance, creating action plans and ensuring proper training and development of employees.
- Work closely with the executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Administer various human resource plans, policies, and procedures; assists in the development and implementation among 30+ global operations sites.
Requirements :
20+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience holding a title such as CHRO or VP / Director / Head of Human Resources from the sectors of Information Technology (IT / ICT), Electronics Design & Manufacturing, Semiconductors, or Industrials.Minimum 5+ years of managing HR operations in an “international, multi-cultural” environment.Experience in strategic planning and implementing effective HR strategies.8+ years of people managerial experience; managing multiple HR function teams across different countries and R&D / manufacturing sites in a sizable organization (20,000+ employees).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Sound knowledge of HR systems, labor laws & regulations, and all HR processes (e.g., recruitment, talent management, training & development, compensations & benefits).Ability to work under high-complexity, fast-paced working environment.MSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or relevant field will be a plus.Ability to conduct international travels (30% of the time).Full working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.Qualified and interested Parties please apply with your CV and latest salary in Word format to Janet.Yeh@morganphilips.com.
