Officer, Wealth Management Operations, Gen Ops-Consumer Banking-(WD74867)

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support and ensure efficient execution of day-to-day operations within the Consumer Banking division
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhance customer experience, and drive operational excellence
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Participate in project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of operational initiatives
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and act as a liaison between the operations team and other business units

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology tools to support operational activities
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, project management, and customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
