  • Deliver "top line" growth through sustained, profitable value-added sales and new business opportunities within named accounts
  • Go deep" into the business's largest customers and prospects to develop and execute a detailed account plan, engaging other functional resources to grow sales across Electronic Materials' product line and Business unit.
  • Take qualified leads and convert them into new contacts, accounts, and new business opportunities
  • Deliver and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Maintain detailed and timely account records in the CRM system
  • Work effectively with market and product experts to execute and refine market / product strategies in named accounts and beyond
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Electronics materials, selling the full portfolio of products, and seeking sales opportunities for other Materion products as well
  • Work with Product Line Leaders and the Regional Business Leadership team to improve service to the end customer and drive Materion’ s commercial excellence

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical field, Business, Marketing, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience

  • Minimum 15 years professional work experience in electronic industry, Semi is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in a sales role with a track record of key account management.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute the overall sales and execute a comprehensive account plan
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and EM team members
  • Maintain a motivated and energized attitude, eager to lead and drive improvements in performance
  • Strong communicator, collaborator and negotiator – builds effective relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Show willingness to attend learning opportunities to enhance skills and competency
  • Knowledge of CRM (Sugar™) and SAP preferred
  • Strong moral and ethical compass
  • Travel up to 30%
