1) Communication and Media insights

Leadership on media insights and communicates alternatives of

On / Off lines Directions

Competitive insights

Emerging Media landscape

Strategic Media Assessment

Media Thresholds

Media Target Analysis

2) Leadership of Media Agency

Proposes objectives for the Agency / Statement of work

Responsible for Media Agency performance evaluation including Agency Bonus Assessment

Ensure that Agency Resource level is sufficient to execute strategies and provide alternative recommendations.

Inspire and motivate Media Agency to deliver media planning and buying

III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (cont’d)

3) Consultancy in the development of communication and media strategies

Support to Divisions in the development of alternative communication and Communication media strategies.

Supports in continuous improvement of Media Strategy planning process

Champions best practice and share case studies

Ensures regular dialogue with divisions to review strategic proposals / broader communication planning issues and agree on solutions.

Partner with PR, CRM, and social media experts in order to formulate a holistic communication strategy for major campaigns, for division, and for the brand.

Reviews Communication media strategies

Identifies new media communication opportunities.

Review competitor media spend analysis as provided by Media Agency to ensure key competitor activity are captured and communicated.

Ensures that media strategies and plans meet brand objectives.

Challenge and clarify Media Agency proposals.
