Molex is seeking an experienced (Sr.) Automation Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing customized test equipment and automation software to ensure product quality and accelerate manufacturing efficiency. This position will focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced test systems—both hardware and software—to support new product introduction (NPI) and mass production in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
- Identify testing needs for new and existing products and propose effective hardware / software solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test software, including data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop test automation software for data acquisition, control, and analysis (e.g., using Python, LabVIEW, or C#)
- Integrate test systems with measurement instruments (e.g., IL / RL testers, vision systems, oscilloscopes).
- Support NPI builds and production line implementation of test solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of deployed test systems.
Who You Are
EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related fieldsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsProficient in English — listening, speaking, reading, and writingWhat Will Put You Ahead
3+ years of experience in test system development, including hardware and software components.Strong programming skills in at least one automation language (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C#, VBA).Experience with electrical or optical measurement equipment integration (e.g., IL / RL tester, oscilloscopes, vision systems)Experience with automated data logging, result analysis, and system calibrationCandidates with flexibility for overseas business trips (up to 2 months) are preferred.Additionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
