FIELD ENGINEER
ACCOUNTABLE TO : PROJECT MANAGER – OFFSHORE
PURPOSE
As a Field Engineer / Project Engineer, you will oversee the various stages of the offshore grouting
execution by our grouting subcontractor for our offshore wind projects in Taiwan, offshore operations,
silo tracking, material tracking, QAQC supervision, and making sure that all offshore paperwork and
product quantities are accurate, organised and well managed and traced. You will be the focal point of
the customer offshore, managing their expectations, and managing our Subcontractors performance.
Responsibilities include but not limited :
- Client liaison with Customer, managing expectations.
- Managing Grouting Subcontractors performance.
- Review and collation of all onsite reports (DPR’s, Technical Reports, Volumes Cube Test
Report Sheets, equipment downtime, pumping times etc.) to ensure completeness, accuracy,
and with no inconsistencies.
Approving Subcontractors equipment and personnel timesheets for submission to the ProjectManager at SIKA.
Monitor and record the following data :Prevailing air temperature
Prevailing seawater temperature
Fresh (mixing) water temperature
Dry material temperature
Grout delivery line (hose) temperature
In-line (pump) flow meter readings
Transmittal of onsite reports, once approved by SIKA, to CUSTOMER.Monitor the grout quantities both used and available on the Work Vessel and coordinate withSIKA onshore for re-supply at the dockside port-calls.Manage Subcontractor for preparing and packing of grout cubes for testing at third party lab.Recorded cubes to be sent.
Coordinating with SIKA onshore logistics team for collection of grout cubes and coordinatingwith Project Manager.
Technical Knowledge
Provide technical support in offshore grouting operations and tracking of material, QAQCof product MasterFlow 9800.
Provide technical support towards the transfer of the product to clients vessels.Operational Management
Evaluate, organise and prioritise work within the overall project schedule and clientrequirements
Project liason with internal SIKA stakholders, Project Manager, Logistics, and materialcoordinators
Attend and chair daily meetings and TBT with Subcontractor.Review and approve progress reports on a weekly basis and submit to the Project ManagerLiaise and manage third party contractors to ensure efficient operations.Client Care
Attend and contribute to project meetings (if any)Interpret clients’ requirements, identifying and addressing an issue and reporting to ProjectManager.

Previous experience working on similar offshore wind projects of large scale and groutingoperations supervisor capacity.
Previous experience of working with a offshore grouting equipment, silos and MasterFlow9800
GWO (5 modules) , Offshore Bosiet + FUET, and UK Offshore Medical.Key Attributes
