Location Taiwan, Province of China Taichung shih Taichung Remote vs. Office Office / Site only Company Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Offshore Wind Limited Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You will be responsible to manage and perform the procurement tasks of wind power factory in TaiChuang, including CAPEX / OPEX purchasing, supplier management. Focused on creating and communicating RFX documents to vendors for capex and opex requirements at our factory and warehouses. Led the tender process, including evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and ensuring timely delivery. Negotiated maintenance contracts and leasing arrangements for plant and machinery. Evaluated contract performance to ensure compliance and identified areas for change. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and communicate RFX documents to vendors for capex and opex requirements at factory and warehouses.
- Lead the tender process through to evaluation, negotiation, contracting, purchase order and delivery.
- Negotiate plant and machinery maintenance contracts and leasing arrangements.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Manage KPI’s to measure, control and benchmark procurement activities including savings, contract trackers, spend under category strategy.
- Align with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Quality, Facilities and Operations to understand and implement process improvements.
- Assist in the identification of new suppliers and ensure due diligence is carried out for all new sources of supply.
What You Bring
Degree or equivalent experience in Business / Supply Chain / Logistic.3-year CAPEX / OPEX purchasing experience including supplier / vendor relationship and stakeholder management experience. Good knowledge in sourcing and P2P process and flow.Strong negotiation skills and a track record of taking ownership and driving results.Good time management with the ability to multitask competing priorities.Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules, including needs of the organization. Mid-level people skill and communication skills.Fluent in both written and spoken Mandaring Chinese and English. Can speak Taiwanese. Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel.
