SUMMARY

Drive sustainable growth in the Taiwanese OEM market (machine builders) with a passion to win by leveraging value-selling tools and channel management strategies to strengthen Kollmorgen’s branding.

Increase market share, outperform competitors, and accelerate development in key OEM industries, including but not limited to semiconductors (SEMI), metal forming, and robotics, through tailored solutions for machine builders, all while upholding integrity and a commitment to customer success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new sales opportunities with OEM customers (machine builders) across various industries, such as semiconductors (SEMI), metal forming, and robotics, and provide concise, transparent sales reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with OEM clients as part of a unified team to understand their machine-building needs, recommend Kollmorgen solutions with a focus on innovation with purpose, and support design-in processes to ensure seamless integration.
  • Promote new Kollmorgen products tailored for machine builders, ensuring alignment with customer requirements across diverse OEM applications, while continuously improving product offerings to meet evolving market demands.
  • Expand business networks within the OEM sector with a sense of urgency, explore new market opportunities across Taiwan, and manage high-level accounts with machine builders, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and accountability.
  • Provide technical support to OEM clients, ensuring seamless integration of Kollmorgen solutions into their machines, and exceed customer expectations through value-added services that prioritize customer success.
  • Analyze market trends in the OEM space, including industries like SEMI, metal forming, robotics, and beyond, to identify effective strategies for enhancing sales performance, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and performance excellence.
  • Participate in customer negotiations with machine builders, ensuring consistent growth in the OEM market.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field; familiarity with motion control systems for OEM applications (e.g., semiconductors, metal forming, robotics, or similar industries) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, with a focus on OEM customers (machine builders) in industries such as SEMI, metal forming, robotics, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with OEM clients and cross-functional teams in a diverse and inclusive environment to address machine-building needs.
  • Proven ability to manage key OEM accounts, develop long-term client relationships, and drive sales growth in competitive markets with a passion to win and a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset, with a commitment to customer success and a responsibility to deliver innovative, purpose-driven solutions for machine builders.
  • Strong execution skills with a results-driven approach, thriving in a fast-paced OEM environment while maintaining accountability and a focus on performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience with CRM software; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for effective communication with local OEM clients.
