The Role and Responsibilities include :
Supplier Management]
- Drive supplier (ODM / OEM / JDM) relationship management and strategic business development
- Lead supplier qualification, selection and contract negotiation processes
- Drive business negotiations covering cost structure, supply commitment, and commercial terms
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to drive continuous improvement on supplier performance metrics
- Build competitive supplier ecosystem to enhance quality, cost competitiveness and technology innovation
Cost Management]
Lead end-to-end cost management from RFQ phase through product lifecycle.Drive cost optimization initiatives and savings opportunities.Develop should-cost models and cost breakdown analysis to support business negotiationsExecute RFQ processes and close business deals within financial guidelines and target costsCross-functional Leadership]
Partner with global teams across different time zones and culturesRepresent operations in key program reviews and strategic planning sessionsBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance, Engineering, and Product teamsDrive consensus across multiple stakeholders on complex business decisionsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field6+ years of experience in operations, supplier management, or related areasUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and quality systemsTrack record of successful cost reduction initiativesExperience with contract manufacturing business modelsStrong project management and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesProficiency in English and MandarinAbility to innovate on issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systemsPeople management experienceAbility to develop efficient work processes for complex projects involving many groups, across multiple geographies and effectively coordinate, implement, and maintain those processesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
