An established English academy in Taipei is looking for an energetic and creative full-time English teacher to join its teaching team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with elementary-aged learners and knows how to make English lessons active, engaging, and enjoyable. Students are between 6 and 12 years old, and lessons should encourage them to participate, communicate, and build confidence using English.

Salary: NT$750–800 per teaching hour
Teaching schedule: 20–25 teaching hours per week
Working days: Monday through Friday
Weekends: No weekend classes
Student ages: 6–12
Work permit and ARC support: Provided

About the Role
Teachers will deliver structured English lessons using creative, interactive, and age-appropriate teaching methods. Classes should combine clear language instruction with activities that keep young learners interested and involved.
Depending on the lesson and students' level, teaching may include games, group activities, storytelling, conversations, role-playing, phonics practice, reading exercises, vocabulary development, projects, and other creative classroom activities.
The goal is not simply to complete the textbook. Teachers should help students enjoy learning English, become comfortable participating in class, and develop practical communication skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Teach English to students between 6 and 12 years old
- Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Follow the school's established curriculum and learning objectives
- Adapt activities for different ages, abilities, and learning styles
- Use games, stories, projects, conversations, and interactive exercises
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence
- Maintain a positive, organized, and supportive classroom
- Encourage active participation and respectful classroom behavior
- Monitor student understanding and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare classroom activities and teaching materials when required
- Communicate and cooperate with local teachers and school staff
- Support student progress and contribute to a welcoming school environment
- Complete basic lesson preparation and related teaching responsibilities

Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to meet Taiwan's legal requirements for an English-teaching work permit
- Clear spoken English and strong communication skills
- Professional and responsible attitude
- Teaching experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is an advantage
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or another teaching qualification is helpful but not required unless needed for work-permit eligibility
