PE Test Engineering

Overview

Rambus a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer is seeking to hire an exceptional Principle Test Engineer to join our Test Engineering inTaiwan this role you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.

As a Principle Test Engineer youll play a pivotal role this full time role youll report directly to our Director of Test Engineering . Our Operations Department is dedicated to Manufacturing Packaging and Testing of Integrated Circuits and your contributions will be instrumental in the Testing and Yield Improvements of the final product.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Define the Test plan and work with design to ensure good Test coverage.
• Effective communications skills with internal cross functional teams customers and suppliers.
• Able to design ATE hardware for NPI support including Load Board probe card interface
• Complete life cycle of products from design prototypes high volume manufacturing bring up and RMA/sustaining support.
• Optimize yield Test time and multi-site count.
• Add additional Tests to the Test-Program and Tune-in Timing and Levels.
• Learn Test-Pattern Generation and Test-Pattern Debug.
• Experience on the Advantest 93K or Equivalent.

Qualifications

• S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Test coverage and DFT (Scan/ATPG/JTAG/BIST).
• Experience working with Local and offshore OSATs.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of Advantest V93k.
• Experience on Smartest Redhat and GIT/SVN.
• Experience in DDR and High-speed Digital products preferred.
• Ability to independently learn and problem solve.
• Comfort with collaboration open communication and reaching across functional borders.
