Job Description
- Lead a team of digital IC designers in developing secure SoC and IP modules
- Define and implement chip security architecture including Root of Trust, Secure Boot, key management, cryptographic accelerators, TRNG, and PUF
- Collaborate with system architects and firmware leads to ensure seamless integration of security features
- Oversee design specifications, code reviews, and verification processes including Lint, CDC, STA, DFT, and low-power design
- Manage the full design flow from RTL to backend implementation
- Translate international security standards (FIPS, NIST, Common Criteria) into design requirements
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, manage project timelines, and ensure delivery quality
- Work location flexibility between Taipei and Hsinchu
The Successful Applicant
Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field10+ years of digital IC design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProficient in Verilog / SystemVerilog and ASIC / FPGA development flowsStrong knowledge of SoC architecture, bus interfaces (AXI / APB / AMBA), memory controllers, DMA, and I / OExperience in secure chip or cryptographic module design (AES, SHA, RSA / ECC, PQC, TRNG, PUF)Familiarity with verification methodologies and EDA tools for synthesis, STA, and DFTExcellent project management and cross-functional communication skillsPreferred qualifications include experience in leading secure IP / SoC teams, PQC implementation, international security certifications, and low-power design optimisation
