Mastercard is pioneer in commercial payment solution in the market. We deliver value to businesses, merchants and financial institutions. Additionally, all of our traditional payments competitors are highly focused on cross-border transactions and many non-traditional competitors are now focusing on cross border. We are seeking a motivated individual to drive our sales strategy in both commercial payment as well as the new and exciting space of real-time cross border payments leveraging our world-class payment platform that Mastercard has developed to help individuals and businesses make faster, more cost-effective cross border payments.
Based out of Taipei, the role of Manager, Small Business Segment, Hong Kong offers the successful individual the opportunity to manage one of the growing revenue contributing business in the division.
This individual will be responsible for the shaping and executing the Small Business Segment plan, collaborate with internal stakeholders, regional SME product and in-country teams to advance bank and payment institution challenges.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong execution focus with strong analytical and organization skills and knowledge of the payments / service industry and relevant experience in dealing small size financial institutions or NBFI.
Overview :
The Manager, Small Business Segment will be part of the Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF) Team which is responsible for advancing the Mastercard small business efforts in Taiwan and reports to Vice President, Specialist Sales, Greater China Division. The individual will be responsible for supporting Taiwan small business commercial cards performance, which includes driving strategy, product development and management, analysis and reporting, and sharing best practices.
This role will be a point of contact for Small Business product development and sales to internal partners and issuers, and the individual will be partnering with the Division Product / Segment Leads to deliver GDV, new customers, share and revenue objectives for the market. This role will require the ability to work both independently and in close partnership with internal stakeholders, thought leadership, influencing skills, and innovative approaches to product development, underpinned by strong analytical capabilities.

The key objectives of this role are to drive growth of the Small Business prepaid, debit and credit card portfolios, and achieve agreed targets in terms of new wins, GDV, revenue and / or share through the following activities :
