Role Purpose
In the role of a Product Quality Control Engineer, manage the quality of Finished Goods through inspection, statistical data analysis, and process data mining.
Establish a Quality Control and sampling plan to meet customer demands and carry out continuous improvement projects in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial Technology departments.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) and metrology for new attributes in collaboration with Product Engineering and Inspection Measurement team, and establish procedures that comply with quality standards.Lead the enhancement of Quality Control based on lessons learned from external / internal quality issues, and institute standardization across manufacturing plants in both region China and Taiwan.Maintain transparency between Divisional guidelines and plant operations through the administration of SOPs, and oversee the actual implementation within the plants.Manage an Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) benchmarking platform encompassing all plants to synchronize QC regulations, and perform quality risk assessments, as well as facilitate the sharing of best practices.Work in partnership with Plant Engineering teams, Operation teams, and Plant Quality Assurance teams to ensure the efficacy and efficiency of quality control processes and instill a standard practice across the Division.Lead Divisional Quality projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration throughout the Division and manufacturing group.Direct the standardization of Inspection judgment criteria across plants, including classification rules, specifications, and measurements.Validate new inspection solutions and systems through statistical analysis.Experiences / Education - Required
Demonstrate a positive attitude and an independent, self-motivated approach to work.Have the ability to collaborate with various departments and lead discussions effectively.Possess organizational skills to plan, execute, and complete tasks efficiently with adept time management.Exhibit project management skills to oversee projects successfully.Preference for knowledge of inspection systems / processes and understanding of defects / attributes.Proficient in English both in verbal and written communication, and reading.
