Job Description

Job Overview :

We are looking for a dedicated Events Manager to lead and support the design and delivery of Arm stories via marketing events. The ideal candidate will bring diligent, solid execution skills to help drive outbound influence messages from events.

This role will allow us to be critical players in our team, developing positive relationships with the Global Events Team, Product Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Business Line Groups, IT, and external service providers. This collaborative approach is crucial in leading various projects, including industry trade shows and Arm-hosted events, and leading event technology systems, all with the aim of showcasing Arm in the best light at all events.

As a supervisor, the successful candidate will provide direction and coordinate, control, and influence the team's work. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our events. Alternatively, a functional specialist typically handles day-to-day activities for the assigned area of responsibility and may contribute to the peer review process.

Responsibilities :

  • Supported events mainly in Taiwan and covered large-scale events in APAC, working with the regional event lead to drive marketing strategy and amplify the message. This includes project management and return on investment tracking reports to the regional objective.
  • Working with more comprehensive departments within marketing and outside to plan stands / events and our show presence, as well as organizing passes, logistics, staff logistics, catering, and onsite execution.
  • Make judgments based on the analysis of information by communicating with collaborators. Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions within the scope of experience and is encouraged to lead conflicting project priorities.
  • Assist in handling suppliers and other contributors through effective project management of assigned tasks on schedule and within budget.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Demonstrates a good understanding of how the team integrates with other related teams to accomplish event objectives. Excellent event management standard methodologies and a crucial awareness of being proactive and a problem solver under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; experience developing strong working relationships.
  • Ability to interface seamlessly with a global, diverse team (tight-knit collaboration skills, culturally sensitive, can adjust communication style to various audiences, flexibility to time zones for team calls)
  • Ability travel to event locations specific to each program assigned, even on weekends.
  • Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

    Cross-regional experience planning and driving corporate events and influential relationships with agency / vendor / high-tech industry. Language capacity in Korean or Japanese will be a plus.
