About Our Client

U.S Fast-Rising Innovator in AI Edge Computing with fully remote working model.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for devices powered by the NVIDIA Jetson platform.
  • Integrate with camera software to capture, process, and analyze real-time video streams.
  • Write Python code to support system functionalities, including data processing and device control.
  • Implement OTA (Over-the-Air) updates for deployed camera fleets.
  • Identify and optimize software stack bottlenecks, from the kernel to the application layer.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in embedded systems development, applying them to enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaborate directly with hardware vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably with Linux-based platforms.
  • Proficient in Python programming; familiarity with Docker, JavaScript, and C / C++.
  • Proven experience with the NVIDIA Jetson platform or similar embedded computing modules.
  • Strong understanding of software deployment strategies for embedded systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, device communication, and IoT technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, focused on achieving project goals.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, protocols, and hardware debugging is a plus.
