Green Tomato Media is looking for a  Growth Operations Specialist  to  build the operational systems and infrastructure that drive visibility on YouTube and Search  — through methods that go beyond what's in the official guidelines.

This is not a traditional marketing role. You won't be optimizing landing pages, running A / B tests, or refining email campaigns. You'll be building systems that work around platform limitations — account infrastructure, engagement mechanics, and the operational backbone that makes unconventional tactics repeatable at scale.

The role is foundational. As results develop, so will your responsibilities — including potential team leadership.

Who We Are

We're GreenTomatoMedia  — a global, mostly remote team of 150+ people from 40+ countries who love building and scaling cool digital products. We live and breathe organic growth, with core expertise in ASO, Google, YouTube, and LLM SEO.

We run two main ventures :

  • Mobile Apps  – Entertainment apps like Drinking Games, Couple Games, and Truth or Dare.
  • Media & Affiliate  – High-value content sites & a YouTube channel in the iGaming and finance space.

What You'll Do

Growth & Experimentation

  • Research and test strategies to maximize visibility fast. Conventional methods and timelines don't apply.
  • Understand how platforms really work detection, signals, thresholds and find the gaps
  • Design experiments that challenge assumptions about what's possible
  • Track, measure, and report on experiments with intellectual honesty
  • Kill what doesn't work fast, double down on what does

    • Operations & Infrastructure

  • Build systems and maintenance at scale and under the radar
  • Set up and manage the technical environment to support operations
  • Solve operational friction : behavioral patterns, platform detection, etc
  • Create a task execution capacity that outperforms external platforms

    • Process & Documentation

  • Develop systematic approaches to engagement and CTR optimization
  • Document what works into clear, repeatable processes (SOPs)
  • Build foundations that can scale with the company

    • Who You Are

  • You've worked in SEO, YouTube growth, or affiliate marketing — ideally in competitive niches
  • You understand how platforms really work, not just the official guidelines
  • You're a systems thinker : you see the process behind the tactic
  • You're resourceful, scrappy, and solution-oriented
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
  • You're autonomous — you don't wait to be told what to do
  • English fluent; French is a plus

    • Bonus Points

  • Experience in iGaming or high-competition affiliate verticals
  • Familiarity with automation tools (n8n, Make, or similar)
  • You've built or scaled a YouTube channel before
  • Experience setting up remote operations or working with distributed teams
