We’re looking for a Human Resources Director to be based for a tech company in Taiwan (with major focus in Automotive & Power business). This role will report to the CEO and be responsible for all human resources and administration functions within the organization. Fluent English speaking and overseas employee management experience are required.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the full HR functions by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally.
  • Develop and manage HR policies and procedures. Develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
  • Advise, counsel, and provide coaching and resolution to address employees’ performance. Provide consultation and performance management guidance to improve work relationships, build moral and increase productivity and retention.
  • Work closely with the executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures. Ensure proper training and development of employees.
  • Oversee HR & Administration departments.
  • Plan and supervise administrative procedures, systems, and activities. Devise ways to streamline processes. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate business operations.

Requirements :

  • 15+ years of combined working experience in the fields of Information Technology / ICT, Electronics, Semiconductors, or Automotives. And a minimum of 5 years in full-function HR management, ideally holding a title of HR Director or Head of HR.
  • Sound knowledge of HR systems, labor laws & regulations, and all HR processes (e.g., recruitment, talent management, training & development, compensations & benefits) in a Research & Manufacturing centric organization.
  • Desired management scope : 10+ HR staff
  • Experience of recruiting foreign managers / leaders outside of Taiwan will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and ability to conduct strategic planning and implementing effective HR strategies. Good commercial sense and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under high-complexity, fast-paced working environment.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese writing and speaking.
  • BSc / MSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field will be a plus.
