Position Summary
The sales specialist role establishes, builds, and maintains professional relationships with KOLs and effectively communicates the therapy’s value proposition to all stakeholders. As an integral member of the sales team, this position partners with cross-functional teams to communicate current market conditions and develop accounts to adopt the therapy. This position requires thorough knowledge the Medical Device fields, a demonstrated track record of launching new products and the ability to work independently.
Principal Responsibilities
- Maintain a monthly and quarterly territory plan that outline territory sales objectives and areas of vulnerability.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota and provide monthly forecast for the defined area
- Effectively communicate therapy’s value proposition to customers and partner with Clinical Medical Affairs to deliver outstanding clinical and training support to ensure physicians quickly become clinically independent.
- Qualify, train, assess, and ultimately develop accounts to adopt the therapy as an integral part of their disease practice with the goal of demonstrating high account adoption.
- Communicate current market conditions and recommend improvements to the commercial process.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and KOLs within defined region.
- Provide support for the resolution of product complaints and / or safety issues.
- Proactively support organizational goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Authority regulations, including strict compliance with Teleflex Customer Relationship policies.
- Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates.
- Establish and maintain credentials to enter and work in hospitals and other medical facilities as required by facility requirements.
- Contribute to our culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, efficient, high-achieving, and fun!
- Partner closely with the Line manager, Sales team, and Marketing team to identify and prioritize customers for higher-level corporate relationships.
- Partner with the Customer Service team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Partner with the Line Manager and Finance team to ensure all required sales reporting forms are completed and submitted on time.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree or aboveMedical industrial experience of sales / marketing for Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and Healthcare is a plusMinimum of 3 years of Sales experienceSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements
Experience in Coronary Vascular Disease and / or Peripheral Vascular Disease is a mustDemonstrate outperforming sales achievements is preferredIndependent, highly self-motivated and result driven and can work independentlyExperience in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)Flexible and adaptable to changing environment and needsNote : As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Teleflex Medical business, key responsibilities may evolve and change over time.
