Molex is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who will have the responsibility for tracking, reporting on NPI (New Product Introduction) / transfer project. he will monitor Production and Supplier performance to ensure all key quality metrics are within acceptable target ranges for performance.

What You Will Do
- NPI – Manage complex projects. Provide input on supplier performance and selection during the RFQ process. Conduct audits to ensure line readiness as well as monitor and support defect resolution through all phases of the New Product Introduction. Be responsible for reviewing new process throughput yield and other quality metrics of new production processes and equipment and declaring them Ready / Released to Production.
- Cross-functional cooperation and coordination with design engineering teams, manufacturing teams, process engineering teams and supply chain resources.
- Verify the quality and performance of products and conduct periodic quality status reporting and review with customers.
- Work with customers, Molex associates globally to resolve customer quality issues; this may require domestic and international travel (about 2 months) and off-hours communications.
- Facilitate the 8D resolution for field quality issues to ensure containments, develop and validate CAs and preventive actions.
- Work with the Quality Team in optimizing quality processes and maintain documentation of quality procedures. Involved in any quality procedure related matter and customer audits.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree above in a technical field (IE, EE, ME, etc.) and at least 2 years with Quality Engineering experience.Good communication skills within different teams and work effectively taken with team members.Good ability to Listen / Speak / Read / Write skills in English communication.What Will Put You Ahead
Good ability to Analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Quality control experience for fiber optical products is preferred.Problem solving and experience in corrective action techniques like, but not limited to, 5-Why’s, the 8D process, Fish-bone approach, various statistical tools andbrainstormingProven ability to and independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, lead projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.Certifications an advantage including Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Six Sigma.Additionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
