Mission of the Role : The key purpose of this role to play a key advocate and spokesperson for our Visteon products and technologies. This role combines a deep understanding of technology with excellent communication and presentation skills to engage developers, partners, and technical audiences. The Technical Business Development Specialist will be responsible for spreading awareness of our platform, inspiring and supporting developers, and creating resources to foster a vibrant community around our technology / products
Key Objectives of this Role :
Regional Leader (Target 5-7 OEMs) : Build, grow, and nurture the Customers by engaging with them on technical and product-related topics to understand the vehicle level roadmap, creating opportunities for pre RFI momentum
Customer RFI / RFQ : once engaged with customer, periodic touch points with customer that drives continuous evolution of offerings and results towards deal closure
Product Advocacy : Champion our products and technology to external communities, businesses, and influencers through presentations, webinars, conferences, meetups, and online forums
Technical Support : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customers and developers receive timely, accurate technical assistance and have resources that make it easy to adopt and integrate our solutions
Market Insights : Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and the evolving needs of the developer ecosystem to provide insights that inform product development

Qualification, Experience and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Proven experience as a developer, software engineer, Product Manager, or in a related technical role
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering technical talks and creating educational content
Proficiency in Product development cycle and software life cycle processes
Demonstrated ability to build and engage with online and in-person communities
Strong understanding of latest technologies and especially in cockpit electronics
Analytical thinker able to focus on the key drivers of a decision and think through the down-stream consequences of various options. Considers implications, financial impact, strategic alignment, and influence on customer’s strategy when making decisions.
Results orientated, builds commitments and enthusiasm to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Proficiency in standard business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
