Role : Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Location :  Taipei City, Taiwan

Industry :  Restaurant Technology / Consumer Electronics

Type :  Full-Time | Onsite | Standard Business Hours

Experience Required :  7 – 15 years

Visa Status :  Open to candidates with valid work authorisation in Taiwan

Travel Requirement :  Domestic and international supplier site visits as needed

About The Job :

We are hiring on behalf of a global leader in restaurant technology, specialising in smart hardware solutions for the hospitality industry. The Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of hardware components and systems sourced from suppliers and contract manufacturers across Asia.

This role suits an experienced quality professional with strong supplier engagement skills, hands-on inspection knowledge, and the ability to work across functions during NPI and mass production.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct on-site and remote audits of Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and sub-tier suppliers
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective / preventive actions (CAPA)
• Oversee supplier PPAP submissions, quality plans, and readiness for new product introductions
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections, ensuring compliance with specs and drawings
• Monitor supplier KPIs (e.g., PPM, NCRs, OTD) and lead performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify risk areas in design and manufacturing processes
• Support change control processes and calibration activity management
• Ensure suppliers comply with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent QMS standards
