About Our Client
The employer is a U.S.-based manufacturing company. The Taiwan region has approximately 200 employees, distributed across Taipei and Taoyuan, encompassing R&D, sales, and production departments.
Job Description
1.Develop and execute HR strategies that support the business objectives of the Taiwan operations, ensuring alignment with regional and global HR frameworks.
2.Serve as a strategic HR partner to the Taiwan leadership team, offering guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
3.Lead the HR aspects of post-merger integration in Taiwan, ensuring smooth transitions for employees and alignment of policies and practices with corporate standards.
4.Oversee recruitment efforts for the Taiwan region, ensuring timely and effective hiring processes to meet business needs.
5.Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure the organization has the right talent to meet future growth requirements.
6.Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with Taiwanese labor laws and corporate policies.
7.Provide leadership in addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair treatment and resolution in accordance with company policies.
8.Collaborate with corporate HR teams to design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages that are aligned with local market practices.
9.Ensure payroll processes are executed accurately and in compliance with local regulations and tax requirements.
10.Oversee the performance management process, ensuring that performance evaluations are conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and align with business goals.
11.Drive the implementation of training and development programs to improve employee skills and support career advancement.
12.Oversee administrative functions including office management, facility operations, and vendor management, ensuring efficient operations across the Taiwan office.
The Successful Applicant
1.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2.10-15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
3.Proven experience in post-merger integration and organizational restructuring.
4.Strong understanding of Taiwanese labor laws and HR compliance.
5.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6.Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required. Japanese is a plus but not necessary.
7.Experience in managing HR functions within a multinational environment, preferably with U.S.-based companies.
8.Willingness to travel is required, as employees are located in both Taipei and Taoyuan.
