JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Senior / Field Application Engineer, C&C

Location : Remote, Taiwan

Department : C&C Technology Solutions

1. SUMMARY

The Senior / Field Application Engineer (FAE), C&C is a key technical role within C&C BU, responsible for providing professional technical support and solutions to assigned customers. This role requires a deep understanding of PCB, the industry, and the customer's application needs. The FAE will work closely with the sales team, engineering teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and drive product adoption. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to solve complex technical problems.

2. Job Responsibilities

The Senior / Field Application Engineer (FAE) will focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers. This involves understanding their long-term needs and expectations, aligning on product roadmaps, technology trends, and strategic initiatives.

3. Job Qualifications

3.1 Education & Experience :

Bachelor's degree in engineering related, material tech & engineering, chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a FAE, front end engineer, SQE, SI engineer or similar role within PCB / PCBA industry.

Proven experience in big customers supporting is a plus.

Higher caliber with more experience will be consider as Senior Field Application Engineer

3.2 Technical Skills :

Solid PCB knowledge in manufacturing process, CCL material.

Familiar with PCB design (layout and SI) and PCBA assembly.

Familiarity with industry CAM software tools (e.g., CAM350, Genesis, Polar SI8000).

Familiarity with industry standard specifications (e.g., IPC 600, 6012, 650)

Computer skills with working knowledge of Windows Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

Well understanding of data center products and market is a plus.

3.3 Communication & Interpersonal Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Fluent communication in English is a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

3.4 Travel and others

Available for travel (10% to 20%).

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with high volume of workload.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to : a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
