Legal Manager

職務描述To actively participate in the discussion and drafting of legal documents, in particular, to ensure the business is supported adequately at the operational level, with the possibility of also providing strategic concept shaping and implementation of business restructuring and development projects as required by the Regional General Counsel. To ensure that management and key functions in the Taiwan market are provided with high-quality legal services and the Taiwan management team. To ensure compliance with JTI Policies and Procedures and applying laws to the local environment. The interpretation and application of the strategic direction of the Legal function within the Taiwan entity. To instruct and supervise external legal counsel on matters protecting JTI Taiwan's business. Lead various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request. Member of the recognized bar Appropriate university degree or equivalent. At least 7 years of commercial law experience, preferably with in-house counsel experience in the FMCG industry Good understanding and application of commercial law theory and practice Proven interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge of local labor practices and legal requirements. Proficient in English and Mandarin (including Chinese drafting skills).
